Position Summary:

• Provides prompt and courteous service to members while processing transactions and answering questions
• Takes phone calls in the queues to service our members
• Completes transactions and related documentation for deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and transfer of funds
• Actively markets and cross-sells current and new products and services of the credit union while educating members on their benefits and features
• Handles account modifications, inquiries, and member research requests through phone, mail, fax, email, and in person
• Processes wire requests, ACH debit requests, automatic loan payment requests, stop payment requests, card orders, check orders, closed account requests, etc.
• Opens savings, checking, CD and money market accounts
• Scans documents into system
• Works reports and special projects for branch office
• Must thoroughly understand and weigh member requests and choose the proper course of action
• Communicates information clearly and effectively while maintaining a friendly and welcoming disposition toward members and co-workers

Qualifications:

• Cash handling Experience
• Be enthusiastic about what you do!
• Have a great attitude
• Understand the benefits of a Credit Union
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of personal computer, Excel and Word
• Interpersonal skills to effectively suggest new products and services to our members
• Ability to multi-task in a faced paced environment
• High School diploma or equivalent
• One to three years of similar experience is preferred
• Symitar experience preferred
• All qualified candidates will need to pass a credit and background check
