Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager

Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union, a world class financial institution, is looking for a Marketing Manager for our Dallas Branch near Love Field Airport. The Marketing Manager would serve as the operational management partner to the Vice President of Marketing, overseeing the day-to-day operations, workflow, personnel, and execution of the marketing department. This role coordinates marketing campaigns, creative development, promotional initiatives, business development support, partner outreach & relationships, and overall departmental organization. The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing and provides direct supervision for the Business Development team and Graphic Design, ensuring effective execution of departmental goals, timelines, and marketing initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

Department Leadership & Personnel Management

  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, direction, and accountability for the Business Development team and Graphic Designer
  • Manage workflows, project assignments, priorities, approvals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Oversee project completion, communication, productivity, and departmental performance
  • Support the VP of Marketing with workflow management, project coordination, and operational execution
  • Work with Sr. Marketing Data Analyst and monitor campaign performance, metrics, and analyze marketing analytics
  • Administrative responsibilities would include tracking and managing departmental invoices, monitoring marketing inventory and supplies, and coordinating with vendors on pricing, materials, services, ordering, and receiving. The position would help ensure accurate recordkeeping, timely payments, and efficient management of department resources.

Marketing Campaign, Creative & Brand Management

  • Initiate and coordinate marketing campaigns, product initiatives, member communications, and organizational marketing efforts
  • Manage campaign timelines, execution schedules, approvals, and cross-department coordination
  • Collaborate with Marketing Specialist to develop original campaign concepts, themes, messaging, and marketing ideas aligned with organizational goals and branding
  • Provide creative direction for graphic design, advertising, digital content, and promotional materials, ensuring quality, and timely execution
  • Oversee consistency, copywriting, editing, proofreading, layout review, compliance, branding and content development across all marketing assets
  • Manage the coordination for seamless delivery of assets to social media, email marketing, website updates, digital promotions, SEGS, stations and campaign assets across channels

Business Development, SEG & Relationship Coordination

  • Support SEG development, sponsorships, community partnerships, and business growth initiatives
  • Oversee business development activities, outreach efforts, and promotional support materials
  • Oversee logistics for events, travel, sponsorships, SEG visits, and presentations
  • Research new opportunities for relationships, new SEGs and community organizations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, personnel management, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and teams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, team building abilities
  • Initiative, professionalism, public speaking, and independent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to represent the organization at events, meetings, and community functions
  • Sales or business development experience is a plus
  • All qualified candidates must pass a credit and background check
